Independence Day layout using Paper Bakery Capture 365 Kit

Happy Groundhog's Day and Happy Superbowl Day…and get this, it is also my birthday today. What a day! The Seahawks are playing, and I figure it's only fair that they win one for me today.
I have a layout to share with you today using the Paper Bakery Love Potion #9 Capture 365 Kit. I used a sketch created by Juliana Michaels for this layout, and had a lot of fun playing along. One of the things I like most about sketches is that you can interpret them in so many different ways. Sometimes I follow them exactly, and other times I change them up. For this particular layout, I decided to change the outside groupings by using them as embellishment areas with layered strips of paper and omitting the photos. I also chose to place these banner embellishments in the opposite corners of my layout. I included some letter stickers from my stash as well as a variety of amazing sequins. I have a slight sequin obsession, and seem to use them on just about everything these days. If you love sequins like I do, be sure to check out the awesome assortment we have in the Paper Bakery shop.
I love how this layout turned out, and I hope it  inspires you this weekend. If you decided to play along with our sketch this month, don't forget to link up your layout on the right side of the Paper Bakery blog. I would also love to see what you are creating with your Paper Bakery Kits over on our Facebook page.
