Project Life 2014: Weeks 2, 3, and 4

Happy Tuesday, and you know what that means right? It's time for another Project Life Tuesday. The day of the week where I share my most recent Project Life pages and hopefully inspire some of you to get on the Project Life bandwagon as well. This is my fourth year working on Project Life, and I still love it. I love that I have a place to document all of the funny little things my kids say, and yes there are two hilarious quotes in the images below. Happy browsing!

Week 2

This is my favorite title card to date. I used a 4 x 6 wood veneer and had a blast filling in the little
circles with patterned paper, enamel dots, chipboard, and sequins. My favorites.

This close-up shows you some of my favorite techniques. 1. Using Google Images to document
current events "Polar Vortex." 2. Including personal memorabilia (hubby's car tag for work
at the EPA this week. 3. Lots of journaling to tell our story (including on a photo.)
4. Stitching, and yes I now use my sewing machine.

Week 3

This close-up shows you some of my imperfect stitching, a digital stamp, some hand journaling
directly onto a photo, date stamping, and a fun sequin embellishment on a journal card.

For this image, I was trying to show you some ways I use veneer elements. I staple wood
veneer directly onto photos, and also use wood paperclips. I incorporated some zigzag
stitching as well, a flair badge adhered to the outside of my page protector using glue dots,
and a great photo of Russell Wilson via Google images.

Week 4

I love using bullet points (or in this case puffy stickers) to hi-light journaling for multiple photos.
I also love messy stamping, journaling around elements on journaling cards,
and shaped paperclips. Seriously how cute are they?

More zigzag stitching here, journaling directly onto a photo using Photoshop Elements,
and the glimpse of a funny quote.

Thank you for stopping by today at life, scrapbook, repeat. I appreciate you being here. If you like what you see on this blog please subscribe, that way you know you won't miss any of my blog posts. :-) I also have links to various social media sites on the right side of the blog as well. I would love to see you there. I will be back with some more scrappy goodness later this week and I would love to see you back.

Let's talk Project Life today. Anyone else loving pocket page style scrapbooking? Anyone not loving the process? Is there anyway I can help you? If you are looking for more Project Life inspiration, I have most of my 2013 and my 2014 pages under the label "Project Life" on the right side of the blog. I also highly recommend checking out "The Mom Creative" blog. Jessica Turner posts Project Life pages every Tuesday, and even hosts a link-up where you can find many different takes on this worthwhile project. I link my pages up there every week as well.
