Week 2
This is my favorite title card to date. I used a 4 x 6 wood veneer and had a blast filling in the little
circles with patterned paper, enamel dots, chipboard, and sequins. My favorites.
This close-up shows you some of my favorite techniques. 1. Using Google Images to document
current events "Polar Vortex." 2. Including personal memorabilia (hubby's car tag for work
at the EPA this week. 3. Lots of journaling to tell our story (including on a photo.)
4. Stitching, and yes I now use my sewing machine.
Week 3
This close-up shows you some of my imperfect stitching, a digital stamp, some hand journaling
directly onto a photo, date stamping, and a fun sequin embellishment on a journal card.
For this image, I was trying to show you some ways I use veneer elements. I staple wood
veneer directly onto photos, and also use wood paperclips. I incorporated some zigzag
stitching as well, a flair badge adhered to the outside of my page protector using glue dots,
and a great photo of Russell Wilson via Google images.
Week 4
I love using bullet points (or in this case puffy stickers) to hi-light journaling for multiple photos.
I also love messy stamping, journaling around elements on journaling cards,
and shaped paperclips. Seriously how cute are they?
More zigzag stitching here, journaling directly onto a photo using Photoshop Elements,
and the glimpse of a funny quote.
