Project LIfe 2013: Week 34, August 19th-25th

The majority of this week was spent on vacation in Colonial Williamsburg. I was very careful in selecting what photos to include for this layout, I started with well over 200 photos from our trip, and just chose my favorites from each of our activities. I just try to keep it as simple as possible. I also kept this week simple by only using items from a pre-selected kit. Just like with week 33, I used the Studio Calico Marks and Company Project Life Kit. The only extra elements I included are the light blue stickers, the cork heart, and the mint green embroidery thread. Sticking to a kit really sped this layout up for me.

Now onto Project Life:

I embossed a little onto this card, using the awesome
stamp set that came with the kit. Don't you
just love white Zig embossing powder?

This title card was made stamping onto Vellum with black
Stayz-On ink, and doing four really quick and simple cross stitches.
The rest is just teal letter stickers and a die cut Dear Lizzy card
laid on top of a white piece of patterned paper.

Just some simple backstitching onto a pre-punched
kraft tag included in the kit

Let's talk using Project Life kits. Do you like using kits to speed up the process? Are you more of a fly-by-your-seat-of-the-pants kind of gal? What are some of your favorite kits to use? Have you ever tried making your own little kit BEFORE you start putting it all together?

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I appreciate you being here and leaving comments. I hope you have a fabulous weekend. I will be back tomorrow with some more scrappy goodness to share.

Happy Scrappin'
