Layout Share: Biggest Dog Girl There Is

My daughter Isabelle absolutely adores animals, especially dogs. Our family is blessed to have two fabulous canine companions: Daisy ( a nine year old rescue lab mix) and Elizabeth ( a 5 year old Pekingese.) These dogs could not be any more loved. The little one sleeps with my daughter every night and they both walk her to and from the bus everyday. It is very mutual adoration on both parties. this is not the first layout I have made of my little one with the dogs, I think it might be my fourth actually, but it is so her, and this one is my favorite.

  • Studio Calico Block Party Scrapbook Kit
  • Green embroidery floss and needle
  • White shipping tag
  • American Crafts adhesive
  • Black American Crafts precision pen .01
  • American Crafts foam dots
  • Versamark ink in Onyx Black
What have you been creating lately? Anyone else experimenting with circles? Anyone else starting to think about making Valentine's Day cards? I have seen so many great ones lately, I have no idea what I will do. Probably something simple with doilies, hearts, and pretty paper, but you never know with me. I could end up with black cards-well, probably not that, but you get the idea. Have a great weekend! Happy Scrappin.'

    I *really* like this layout. I love circles and love that you've used multiple photos. I should probably go unpack my kit :)

    This is gorgeous. My inferior cutting skills stop me from using circles but I always love them in layouts. I am still working back on my November kit at this stage!

      Claire, I did not cut them by hand, LOL. If I did they would all be oblongs or worse. I used punches and my old school Creative Memories cutting system. I also have some old kits to finish up Oct-Dec were crazy for me, so lots left.

    really nice layout - that dotted paper is one of my favorites too :). I´ve been creating a few cards for Valentines already, all different, but my motto was "fast & easy"..still need to do a few :)

    Very nice layout, lots of open space yet filled with details. I've recently joined SC's PL kit club and am enjoying all the inspiration I'm finding on this site.
