I have one card to share with you today. It is one of my favorites and I can't seem to give it away, I guess because I like it so much. Has that ever happened to you? Generally I give away my cards, but this one is extra special to me. It was featured on the Studio Calico blog under the videos for Scrapbook Member Picks using the Roller Rink kit. The funny thing is that it was up there for a month or two without me even realizing it, but either way, it was a fun surprise last fall.
Without further ado, the card:
This card was super simple to make, and I often used scraps of paper in my card making. It seems to be the best way to use up supplies. It is an A2 card (5 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches) with a white cardstock background. The front of the card was created using scraps of the 6 x 6 inch paper pad that comes with the Studio Calico card kit. I also used the stamp for that month and the exclusive enamel dots, maybe that's why I can't get rid of the card? I love those dots so much.
Supplies Used:
Studio Calico Roller Rink card kit
Versafine Ink in onyx black
White cardstock-American Crafts
What have you been creating lately? Anyone else obsessed with enamel dots. I have been following Winter CHA really closely and I am so excited that a lot of companies are jumping on the enamel dot band wagon, and My Mind's Eye also has a bunch more new and lovely colors coming out. I think I will order at least 10 packages of a variety of colors ( I mean I only have 10 or so left right now, and I have to keep a variety on hand, LOL.)
Giveaway
Also, don't forget to follow my blog and leave a comment here telling me that you did so, I am drawing a winner for a giveaway on Friday (I mentioned it in yesterday's post.) I am giving away an American Crafts Valentine's Day date stamp to a blog follower that leaves a comment. So don't forget to enter.
Have a great Wednesday and Happy Scrappin'
