Project Life 2013 Week 38, September 16th-22nd

Last time we left off I was HERE. So the question of the day is, will I have all of my Project Life pages caught up by mid-October? Yes, I think so!!! To accomplish this I will need to cross off two or three more items every week, and I think this is do-able as long as I stay focused on the goal.

Being completely honest, I was feeling a little discouraged last week about all of the weeks I have left to complete, but then I started flipping through my albums and realized just how much I have done. To further focus on what is done, and not what is left to do...I have hi-lighted everything completed. Dude! That felt so amazing! "The Final Countdown" by Europe might have been playing in my head, and YES I even danced to it. You can find that song below for your listening pleasure.

Now onto Week 38:

Very simple and straightforward week around here. I did turn one special photo into a focus element by printing it 6 x 8" in size and using it to fill three pockets. I am really liking this and hoping to include a few more this year! The large photo and all of the 3 x4 photos were taken with my I-phone 4s and the four- 4x6 photos were taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I love both cameras and enjoy having the flexibility for photo taking. My husband purchases a tripod for me last week, so I am hoping to carve out some time to play with that tomorrow.

Supplies for this layout, were largely from Project Life kits by Studio Calico, as well as arrow paperclips from Two Peas in a Bucket. I also added in some October Afternoon mini market stickers for good measure. I almost forgot to mention, I used Ali Edwards new digital brushes- # everyday life. I am just loving these and will get a lot of use out of them in upcoming weeks.

I have linked this Project Life post over at The Mom Creative. This is a great place to find tons of Project Life inspiration each and every Tuesday. You can find Jessica's most recent Project Life post HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will be back later this week with some cards and Project Life pages to share. How are your Project Life pages coming along? Have any of you used an enlarged photo in a traditional Project Life page spread? I just love this and am hoping I have more great photos that can be cropped this year into multiple pockets. The key is not cutting into your subject's faces. That is never a good idea.

Until next time,

xoxox
